One of first experimental works employing a hidden message, with the contorted words fitted into the subject so the did not show through the added layers of paint. The meaning can be derived from the juxtaposition between the hidden words, the classic song and the subject of the painting. The underlying layers are in acrylics, the final layer is in oils. This piece was painted largely between 2014 and 2016 then completed and framed in 2019. The work itself is 31cm x 61cm, with the frame it is 34.5 x 64.5 and 4.5 cm deep. It is gallery framed, such that an additional moulding can be added to the existing frame according to the taste of the new owner.
