Our Story: The Decentralized Art Gallery (DAG) was born out of necessity. When Sue, Tim, George, Ian and Brian lost their regular display venue and saw the high cost of hiring venues, they knew there had to be a better way. Over many coffee meetings and mini-feasibility studies (thanks George!), they came up with the idea of connecting artists with venues. “We all had our work on VooGlue, so as the founder of VooGlue, it was an easy transition to make the artists-venue-matchmaker as well, and all the other tools were already built,” says Brian, who is also the founder of VooGlue. But what would they call themselves? “After more coffees and brainstorming we settled on the Decentralized Art Gallery (DAG) powered by VooGlue, acronym DAG because DAG is memorable and the full name says exactly what we do –  and some of us are a bit daggy too!”

DAG is not just for the initiators; since all the tools are online, DAG is for artists everywhere. We may soon rebrand the whole website, but for now, we are welcoming artists and venues to connect and deploy their own local DAGs. How It Works:

You can join DAG from the cloud.

1. Check for Venues: Use the artist-venue-matchmaker to see venues near you.
2. Sign Up: Register as an artist and to get started.
3. Choose Your Level: Start with the free level or choose the PRO paid level for the best results.
4. Update Your Profile: Use AI to instantly create a professional artist description.
5. Upload Your Art: Add images and single-click AI-generated details of your artwork.
6. Connect and Display: Venues will see your art and can select it for display. You can also proactively contact nearby venues listed on your dashboard. Coordinate with venues to hang your art and start showcasing.
7. Sell Your Art: Buyers can easily purchase your art using the QR code provided with each piece.
