Details of the original artwork
Oil paint on canvas board.
A small group of rams in full wool stand in front of some trees, individuals look to the left and right, with one individual looking at the observer. The canvas is 4 times as long as it is high, giving a sense of broadness to the work, and the group of rams dominates the centre of the canvas. Open farmland of grass and trees can be seen in the background, there is the suggestion of wind in the foliage, and the suggestion of clouds in the light blue sky. This is a scene typical of the rural landscape in the wheatbelt of Western Australia.
The artist says “Rams standing in a group in the wheatbelt of Western Australia”
The coffee mug designs are created from the artists original artworks, and applied to the coffee mugs in Perth WA. Mugs are dishwasher safe.
