I am drawn to the more remote spots , of which there are not too many in Europe , this painting ensued from a family trip where I selfishly arranged to meet them in the Corbiere region of SW France to avoid crowded places . It’s a ruggedly beautiful place where one is required to drive through narrow ,winding , precipitous gorges but the sights are stunning and worth any possibility of car sickness !
