Birdseyeview of treed desert

$800.00 OTH

This abstract watercolour painting, titled Birrdseye view of desert has for a start lots of colour, many greens, red, browns and a mustard colour. The texture from the air is fascinating, I can see many swirls and figures eight with this aerial shot. We usually think of desert having little or no growth but of course many Australian deserts have shrubs and even trees. You can have greenery and yet have little rain. The dry conditions do mean certain colours. This desert aerial view has many hues and colours. The red soil shows up every now and then. Although there are few components to this painting, it works in its favour. The simplicity of the terrain with all trees of about the same size make intriguing patterns and textures.
