Created during the rise of the selfie epidemic: this is a self portrait of the artist. It is somewhat of a mixed media piece with the face being drawn in pen and pencil onto paper, glued and disguised by painted layers of colour and textures. It is a bold piece that is fascinating to study both up close and from a distance: a beautiful interplay of colour, texture and form.
