During lockdown, I was like many epople collecting lots of plants. It was like a mirage that the plants were decorating the house or it was a house for the plants. I was organising my travelling photos that I could’t go anywhere during lockdown. I combined my love of plants and my travelling memories to create this work. This vibrant painting presents a panoramic view framed by tall, leafy plants set in colourful pots. Beyond the window, diverse architectural forms rise against a bright blue sky dotted with white clouds and a warm sun. The bold colours and simple shapes convey a playful yet serene atmosphere, making this piece a refreshing addition to any space.
