These mugs were made in around 2015 however the chess game artwork depicted was painted in 1989. The detail was executed with fine sable brushes in a surreal style. The area closest to the viewer showing a chess game in play, while the area distant shows a medieval army charging onto the board. The twisted perspective represents the time warp.
