We went canoeing on the Fitzroy River near Mornington Wilderness Camp in the Kimberley and discovered this delightful spring-fed waterfall and pond. The stony pond bed was hard to walk on but still some of us had a swim with Sarah my youngest daughter the subject of this work, quickly painted wet on wet in an impressionist style.  I loved the way the different coloured stony pond bed reflected multicoloured through the ripples.
