Glitter and Nightmares, also known as Lily Dolan, is an artist who is deeply inspired by the darker aspects of life and the human mind. Drawing from her own struggles with mental health, as well as her vivid dreams and nightmares, Glitter and Nightmares creates art that is both haunting and enchanting. Her artistic journey began at a young age, with a natural talent for creating visual art. She honed her skills at Mass College of Art, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2007. Since then, she has continued to experiment with different mediums, but has found her true passion in acrylic painting. Glitter and Nightmares` style can be described as gothic, surreal, and fantastical. She often takes dark and disturbing images and transforms them into vibrant and captivating works of art. Her pieces evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue, inviting viewers to explore the depths of their own subconscious. In addition to exploring themes of nightmares and dreamscapes, Glitter and Nightmares is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and LGBTQ rights.
